Thinkpads

.: Info On My Thinkpads :.

Quite a few years ago I purchased a Thinkpad T420 and have been a Thinkpad boy since. I will always suggest a refurbished Thinkpad to anyone who asks about a new laptop. Or, lol, a new one if they happen to be well to do :)
I proudly own a T420, a X260 and a X270.
The X270 is my daily driver. The X260 is my download and backup machine. The T420 I've set up as a Kodi HTPC.
The X260 & X270 dual boot Windows 10 (to run Lenovo Vantage keeping BIOS and such up to date). and Linux Mint while the T420 is straight Linux Mint.
I picked up the X270 because there are two screws on the X260 I screwed up and can't get into the case without some work and I am nervous about fucking with it.
Rather than getting another X260, I went with the X270 as it was easier to find this model with an i7 and Intel 620 graphics.
